A Human Promise

Oriora is built around a simple principle: your personal growth information belongs to you. Oriora does not maintain a database of your dreams, reflections, habits, journal entries, or personal growth profile. In normal use, this private content stays on your device and is not visible to us. Oriora has no ads and does not create or sell marketing profiles. Information leaves your device only when you choose to use an online feature, as explained below.

Local First

Most information you add stays on your device, including your dreams, Journey, habits, reflections, reminders, and settings. Features that work entirely on your device do not send that content to me.

Aven and AI Features

When you choose to use Aven or another AI-powered feature, the message you send and the app context allowed by your AI Personalization setting must pass through the online services that create your response. Oriora does not save a separate personal library of those conversations or use them to build a profile about you. The services involved may process and temporarily retain request or technical information under their own security and privacy terms. You can choose Basic, Full, Private, or Off, and turning AI Off stops new AI requests from being sent.

No Ads or Sale of Data

Oriora has no advertising system, marketing-profile database, or data-selling business. The current app does not use third-party feature-usage analytics. Limited technical records may still be processed when necessary for security, AI usage limits, billing verification, reliability, or error diagnosis; these are not a copy of your private local journal or personal-growth content.

Optional Connected Features

Google Drive backup and export happen only when you connect your account and choose to use them. Oriora asks for limited file access and keeps Google access tokens out of exported backups. If you enable an automatic weekly email, the report, recipient address, schedule, and timezone must be stored and processed so it can be delivered while the app is closed. Reflection details are excluded unless you explicitly include them. Google Play processes subscription and purchase information when you use Oriora Plus.

Your Control

You can delete local app data, remove an automatic email schedule, disconnect Google Drive, turn Aven and AI features off, and remove Oriora from your Google account permissions. If you are unsure about sharing something with an online feature, you can keep it private and continue using the local parts of the app.
